The timeless wisdom of the sacred Shrimad Bhagwad Gita resonated through the halls of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, as the school celebrated the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti. At the outset, with deep devotion, both teachers and students gathered in the school auditorium to participate in a soulful aarti, offering prayers for divine blessings and immersing themselves in the profound wisdom of the sacred scripture. Seth M.R. Jaipuria emphasizes nurturing not only academic excellence but also instilling core values deeply rooted in our culture. To support this, students have the opportunity to attend Gita classes held after school each day. In these sessions, they delve into the timeless teachings of the Gita and embrace its valuable life lessons. On this occasion, our Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, addressed the students and shared profound insights. She emphasized that its words originate from Brahma, the Creator, and carry divine energy. She encouraged the students by saying, "Even if you don't fully understand what you're reading, keep reading. With each repetition, you will gradually absorb the words and uncover the deeper meanings behind them." She further encouraged the students to seek mukti—freedom—from distractions like mobile phones and video games, guiding them instead toward a path of knowledge and harmony. Students and teachers gathered in reverence to read the sacred Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. The atmosphere became serene and blissful as the rhythmic recitations filled the space with spiritual energy. After the recital concluded, the Aarti was performed, followed by the distribution of prasad to all attendees and school members. Reflecting on the experience, one student shared, "The teachings of Gita that I learn at has been truly transformative.
